I got the large shelf and wrench holder and they're plenty strong.

There's a bunch of clearance items on their website, I've got a decent order to pick up today assuming stock was accurate.

I have some Harbor Freight wrenches but the cheap plastic rack broke, this magnetic one will be great.

Thanks for the heads up. It's just frustrating that you can't limit a search on their site to items in stock locally or available for shipping, so you get a ton of useless listings to scroll through.

What's with the weird curved bottom? Will this stick to my fridge or stove or is that curve designed for certain boxes?

I think it's curved to match the thickness of the magnets on the back of the flat metal. This company seems to be manufacturing them and show a better picture of the tray on the side of a box. When attached there is a space between the tray an the box.

https://www.hsmagnets.com/product...tool-tray/

I picked up the rails and the glove holder. The glove holder doesn't stick well on a smooth fridge. When mounted horizontally, it slips under it's own weight. When I moved it to matte painted metal, it stuck much better.

The rails need to be screw mounted. They will not stick through the metal they're mounted on. 8" rated at 10lbs. 12" at 20lbs and the 18" at 30lbs on the package. The bare metal of pliers stick well even through the plastic. The rubber coated handles do not stick to them though. You lose a good amount of magnet strength whenever you add even the smallest amount of space between the metal and the magnet on these ferrite ones.

Happy with the purchase at this price but if you really want a good sticking rail or tray pay 5x and go neodymium.

I didn't test the trays but my guess is that they won't hold well on a smooth fridge. The magnets seem to have the same coating as the glove box holder.

I got the small and large shelf, glove holder, and the rails.

Large shelf holds in place decently. Small shelf does not. Checked the angle of the bottom where it curves back and helps support it and didn't match large shelf. Neither will stay on my tool cart because the bottom is below the shelf on cart , so that curve is crucial. Bent it with a vise to match angle and still won't hold well.

The glove box won't hold when empty either.

The rails are nothing special. Compared them with a HF one and neither can hold a tool that well, even a normal size screwdriver. Neither were mounted so maybe that's part of he reason.

Price is fair but nothing special here and likely have to mount a different way to be used. Guess that gives me more options to mount them on.

No way are these neodymium magnets. A neodymium the size of a dime is much stronger than these magnets which are 10 times the size. Two on the small tray is still weaker than the single small neodymium

Fridge and side of oven for me is textured. The range cover an front is not. I would think it makes more sense it should have better adherence to flat surfaces but the flats make my current ones slide eaiser. This is an interesting phenomenon we are talking about. If magnets adhere stronger when not completely even then that goes against how to make glue adhesives work better.

All my current ones are designed for office supplies. They have weaker ones at the dollar tree I use for lighter stuff I grab often. I haven't found many products yet with neodymium. Even tho it seems pointless to make that other magnets anymore.
