Community Reviews
This Gourmia 8 quart digital air fryer stands out for easy everyday cooking and cleanup, especially when paired with liners or a basket. Long term use is described as reliable, with multiple units running daily for years and grease wiping up easily. The main concern is the nonstick coating, which is described as wearing out quickly on some units, though other long term owners report no coating problems. A few comments also note that liners and rack style affect airflow and cleanup, making it a practical pick if you match the accessories to how you cook.
home cooks who use an air fryer almost daily because multiple commenters said they've had no stick-coating issues even after years of everyday use (including being on their 2nd or 3rd Gourmia).
families who want easier cleanup because commenters said they use air-fryer liners to reduce crumb cleanup and make grease wipe-up easier, and one person described using several Gourmias in the household for that purpose.
shoppers who value a low-risk purchase because one commenter said the Costco return policy is "unmatched" and makes the extra cost worth it.
people who are sensitive to nonstick durability because one commenter reported the Gourmia nonstick coating "fails within a few months" and recommended switching to a ceramic-coated alternative (Bella Pro) that's less prone to chipping/flaking.
buyers who plan to rely on air-fryer liners for performance because at least one commenter warned that liners can defeat the purpose of an air fryer and have been seen catching fire.
people who want bottom-up air circulation for certain foods because one commenter said a rack/liner setup can leave meat "swimming in fat" and may not let air circulate effectively from the bottom.

I recommend getting the Bella pro air fryers, they use a newer much more resilient ceramic type non stick coating making them so much easier to clean and less prone to chipping or flaking off.
