This Gourmia 8 quart digital air fryer stands out for easy everyday cooking and cleanup, especially when paired with liners or a basket. Long term use is described as reliable, with multiple units running daily for years and grease wiping up easily. The main concern is the nonstick coating, which is described as wearing out quickly on some units, though other long term owners report no coating problems. A few comments also note that liners and rack style affect airflow and cleanup, making it a practical pick if you match the accessories to how you cook.

  • Replacement baskets and compatible liners are available through links shared for the specific Gourmia model.

  • Some long-term users report no stick-coating issues even with near-daily or everyday operation over years.

  • The air-fryer liners can reduce crumb cleanup and make grease wipe-up easier during daily use.

  • The included rack or an aftermarket basket can allow solid liners while still producing fine cooking results.

  • The nonstick coating can fail within a few months and may chip or flake off with regular use.

  • Liners with holes can reduce grease control by letting grease flow into the air-fryer bottom.

  • Perforated rack or liner designs may cause meat to sit in drip fat and limit bottom air circulation.

  • Liners can defeat the purpose of an air fryer and have reportedly caught fire in some cases.

The non stick coating on all the gourmia's kinda sucks. It's fails within a few months.

I recommend getting the Bella pro air fryers, they use a newer much more resilient ceramic type non stick coating making them so much easier to clean and less prone to chipping or flaking off.

We have a couple Gourmias with pretty regular usage and haven't had any issues with the coating. I haven't tried the Bellas so can't compare the two, but cleaning hasn't been an issue for us.

Here's a link [amazon.com] to the baskets I bought. I actually bought another set off of Temu for half the cost. Don't have a link for those.

Get the liners with holes in them so when the fan is blowing it will circulate better.

The holes defeat the purpose of using the liners as any grease flows down into the air fryer bottom. Everything cooks fine with a solid liners if you use the included rack or an aftermarket basket.

Depends on what you are cooking I guess, but the whole point of having the rack with holes is that fat drips down. With these you are going to get your meat swimming in fat )) and overall it doesn't let the air circulate (it doesn't hit your food from the bottom)

Use my gourmia daily and have had it for 5+ years. I use a liner so I dont have to clean crumbs and if using it for greesy stuff it helps with not having to scrub the food particles off. Greese wipes up easily.

It depends if you're baking (no holes) or air frying (holes).

Looks like it's no longer available (page no longer exists, and I don't see it when searching the Walmart site).

That's great, but it doesn't change the fact that these are far inferior to the coating on the Bella pros and other models that use ceramic or more advanced non-PFAS coatings for the same cost. Totally not worth getting a Gourmia. Liners also totally defeat the purpose of an air fryer and I've seen them catch fire in the fryers before.
