Timing of this "sale" is a little suspect. BF is right around the corner. Does this mean they're not going to have much of a sale this BF? I guess it's an okay deal for those who can get it for $757 because you don't have to trade in your current phone.
Samsung has gotten greedy and are not giving out the discounts they used to. At this point if you want to go Apple you might as well as the pricing of old is probably not returning. Then next year Google is going to start preventing Android phones from side-loading apps which is the only reason I've stay with Android this long. I don't believe Black Friday will be much different than the current pricing now. JMO.

Yup exactly this. Been saying it for a while. If apple would only add global gesture back button, I would dump android for first time in 15 years, especially since here in the US^, it's not as if we have options in the android space as they do elsewhere..so if I'm going to be beholden to either Google (Samsung) or Apple (and locked down) might as well go with the one that's more private and won the cell wars, for now.

I'm able to add this to my cart in the android shop Samsung app, and the s25 ultra with 512gb shows at $799.99.

I tried other phones, and it's pretty funny that the s25+ is $999 without trade-in. Even with trading a s23, it knocks it down to $700.

Pretty good deal for the ultra..pretty meh for the s25+

I thought I was the only one didn't like apple due to the lack of global back button. I tried apple eco system for 6 month way back in 2017 and came back to Android for back button.

I just bought an iPad air to start getting used to it.. it's a matter of new muscle memory and definitely returning it for the pro because I can't do LCD 60hz anymore!

I already have an s22 base unlocked. Is this a good deal or should I wait for a better trade in deal during Thanksgiving?

i highly doubt it anytime soon. even the s24ultra on the refurb (like new) market is over $600.
$599 is a wishful thinking.

I have been following BF deals for last 4-5 years. The best deals start months before BF most of the time and the actual BF deals are often really bad. I no longer wait for BF deals.
