How does this compare to Yamaha's P-series or Roland FP-30X? This Casio seems like a solid deal... if the key action holds up.

I tried and it says expired. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

First, if you want authentic piano feel the roland fp is the Only way to go, compare them side by side in the store, the yamaha feels like a synthesizer or spring weighted keys, you have to get into Yamaha's higher lines to get their gh3 action which is comparable to the roland and actually includes 3 sensors like the roland and is pretty good. This Casio is also not going to have an authentic piano key feel, BUT you get a more usable device for gigging, much lighter, faster action, very powerful synth engine for layered sounds and voices, and it can run on batteries if needed. Casio also has a triple sensor like the roland, however it has a much lighter resistance that is more synth than piano and has been critized for its short pivot length meaning towards the back of the black keys it gets too heavy. In Short, if you gig, there is no comparison between the three you want this Casio. If it is for home use, again no comparison you want the roland, if you find a screemin deal the yamaha p-series is passable for home use, and is the minimum possible to not be considered a toy.
