I think the battery should be plenty for a Zen 5 6-core and integrated GPU. This might be my stop off this laptop train

Well, it has a backlit keyboard, 2 USB-C ports, and power delivery, no more barrel charger. So pretty good for HP. Any guesses how long Staple deals usually last? Hate to see Costco offer a similarly priced Ryzen 7, 1TB HP 16" again like they did a couple months ago when just started shopping around.

Appreciate you! A little heavier at 5.5 lb but that's not too bad. If I can find out the battery capacity on this I may switch over.

Yeah, same here. One online review [laptopmag.com] said about 11H. I think that's shipping wgt, 3.97lb actual?

I finally bit. The Ryzen 7 was worth the $80 bump after tax. One thing to note if anyone else is going for this:

* Technology and business machines, such as computers, laptops, digital cameras, printers and tablets, may be returned within 14 days of the date of receipt.
