This is a marketing scam if the engine is 100% direct injected since the chemically treated gas does not reach the deposit at the intake valves. A well designed port fuel injected engine has no problem maintaining clean intake valves with regular gas, even after 300K miles. Look for fresh gas at Sams and Costco. These places refill the tanks 2-3x per day.

They never claim this works for DI. The can and most of their material states this is for Port Injected engines. If you run cheap oil, for a long time, use poop gas, make frequent short trips without fully warming up the head, or the port/head design is bad you can still get carbon, despite a fuel bath.

This type of owner will not waste money on fuel treatment.
