For the price it's quite good.
500V clamp voltage is pretty basic. That means it won't protect the connected device until the voltage hits 500V.
Normal voltage is 120V in the US.
The Surge Protection Rating of 1080 Joules is better than some of the other deals at this price level which are in the 600 joule range.
