Nice light for the money, I gave mine away yesterday to my bro in law. My only complaint is the tail switch, sorry they're just not for me.

I go back and forth between tail switch lights and side switch. I can't decide which one I prefer more.

Tail switch are easier to find in complete darkness cus its rite there on the end where as a side switch could be anywhere along the flashlight and if ur in a hurry could be a problem.
However the only lights I have ruined were lights with a tailswitch from holding them in my mouth to use both hands for a task I know they are suppose to be water resistant or proof but I dont think it was a coincident that both of the lights that started having problems were tailswitch a day after prolonged use holding them in my mouth
CONCLUSION i like tail switch lights cus trying to find the switch in a hurry can prove to be a problem just dont put them in your mouth to hold them

If it's in your mouth get a Milwaukee penlight with the rubberized tail. Save your teeth.

The tail switch on this light is activated by "half touches" to toggle between the modes once turned on. When toggling, the strobe always seems to get activated, then its another 5-6 half touches to get where I want to be. That was one drawback for me but the light is nice and bright. I have other geek lights which is one reason I gave this away. Now I get to replace it

You may want to invest in a headlamp, they make some great ones.
