It is not the same Amazon as when Jeff Bezo was running the place. Generally I would pick up the newest version with light or camera for 17 dollars during PRIME DAYS. Times have changed ... and so has Amazon.
I guess maybe a few people will like something like this for 17 dollars, who knows. I like echo dots, ... but ... TIMES have changed. Amazon owns WOOT. soooo ... I'm not giving this a thumbs up or down. Just Times have changed.
p.s. it is the echo show devices that make me upset, because of the Sponsered ADS that can't be removed. At least the echo dot's don't have Sponsered ADS YET ... But amazon is not heading in the right direction from my standpoint.

I use that method myself.
... there are 2 main ways to search for stuff, in HOT DEALS, you see Seach ICON, and when you go to main page on slickdeals it has SEARCH global ... and it opens up to ask "do you want most recent or chose other ways to search, ... That NEW way is very nice addition to slickdeals.

Maybe you are too quick to make ENEMIES! Done that myself and had to grow up! People and Companies change, and many times I had to learn to adapt. I am not your ENEMY, and not your FRIEND either. I'm learning to go in way that feels GOOD to me, and stop doing stuff that is NOT GOOD for me. And allow others to do the same thing. I had to learn ever SOOOOO slowly, to let go of stuff that no longer works for me. And step back, and be SILENT ... and listen to DEEPER SPACE in me. I HAD to stop fighting the world. Fighting the Universe is very painful.
the 2 search methods both work for me. And Slickdeals is trying to improve the experience. Anyway, if you are frustrated about it, no problem, so was I. I balk at new ways to do something. Learning new stuff is a little more difficult for me when I bitch at everyone.
