This 98 inch TCL QLED Google TV stands out for its huge screen, 144 hertz refresh rate, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos support, and the bundled free large TV mounting service. The Walmart listing is tied to the TCL 98Q651G model, and the TV can be used offline by selecting HDMI without connecting to the internet. The main concerns are that this is the 2024 non mini LED version, the install is handled through Angi, and some orders or shipping options have been unavailable or canceled. It looks like a strong value if you want a giant screen and can handle the logistics.

  • The TV can be used as a basic HDMI display without requiring an internet connection.

  • The deal includes free wall mounting through Angi, which can reduce setup effort for a 98-inch TV.

  • Google TV supports sideloading custom launchers, which can help reduce the cluttered interface experience.

  • The Walmart version is described as including free installation, which can be a deciding factor for a very heavy TV.

  • The free installation claim can be confusing because installation may not appear as an addable cart option.

  • The TV deal can be unavailable for shipping and local stores may be out of stock.

  • Walmart reviews reportedly indicate many units arrive with broken screens and customer service can be difficult.

  • Checkout can fail because an instant cancellation email can arrive after payment is submitted.

No matter how nice your car is, tires are what keep you on the road. Never cheap out on tires.

bought it to install an outdoor living space, anyone have a recommendation on a mount?

I do have this outdoor outlet box that I think may need to just buy a mount that has enough space to extend out or I am thinking may just have to install a wood piece possibly on the concrete wall

I have bought tires from Walmart on a previous Black Friday deal. I will happily pay more to purchase tires from another seller after that experience. The customer support at Walmart stores tire departments is horrendous. No one knows anything about the deals and the included mounting and balancing. I had to argue and argue to get the deal that was posted in their ad, even with my online receipt that showed the information.
I remembered a few years ago at a Walmart Black Friday deal. The service of the auto shop was subpar. I had to wait basically half a day or more to get it done even with appointment.

I would also look at Monoprice, they have one for $119 and usually you can find a coupon or cb.

Is this basically the same as the 98" TCL Q55K at Best Buy? Different model numbers (Walmart,: 98Q51CG vs.
Best Buy: 98Q55K) but the specs look nearly identical - same 144Hz/288VRR, QLED panel, AIPQ Pro processor, etc.
Main differences I can spot:
Walmart includes free installation (Best Buy doesn't)
Anyone know if these are just retail variants or if there are actual panel/performance differences? At the same price point, free install might tip it toward Walmart for a 100+ lb TV.

yep got it - was reading the reviews, it could work.

basically seems like these seem to have positive reviews as well

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...7WLS&psc=1

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...2QI9&psc=1

which is cheap but it carries the weight on the lower side of the bar - so not sure about this one

then there is this one which has a youtube install where someone used it though called the mount components missing a poor experience but i think at the end it was pretty stable

https://www.amazon.com/HumanCentr...op?ie=UTF8

plus the monorprice one you linked, prefer dealing with a mount from Amazon for easy returns if needed though that would be the worse scenario - would like to just buy something right will work on concrete outside wall

I just will always use Monoprice because they were the only brand that didn't royally rip people off back in the day with mounts and hdmi cables and other items. They've earned my respect and business.

One difference I noticed was that the Best Buy version base Google Chrome Cast and AirPlay 2. But the one from Walmart only has Google Chrome Cast.
