This CyberPowerPC prebuilt stands out as a strong-value high end gaming desktop, pairing a Ryzen 7 9800X3D with an RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB of DDR5, and a 2TB SSD. The listed specs were confirmed after opening the case, including an Asus TUF B850 board, TeamGroup DDR5, an MSI Spatium M480 Pro SSD, and a CyberPower water cooler. The price is viewed as finally landing in the expected 1600 to 1700 range for this class of build. The main concern is component quality control, especially the power supply, with some reports of Walmart specific parts not matching the box. A solid spec sheet, but the hidden parts deserve a close look.
AAA gaming players who also want a high-end CPU/GPU combo in one box because the Ryzen 7 9800X3D + RTX 5070 Ti spec is described as well-suited for AAA gaming.
Gamers who are comfortable verifying the build after delivery because one buyer opened the PC and confirmed many of the exact components (CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, and even the SSD via a matching review).
People shopping specifically for a 5070 Ti + 9800X3D prebuilt around the $1600-1700 range because a commenter said they expected those builds to land there by Black Friday and this deal finally reached that pricing.
Small business owners who need a reliable work computer because one commenter bought it but returned it since they didn't feel good about the purchase and needed something they could trust for business use.
Buyers who want to avoid "lowest tier parts/QC" in a Walmart-specific prebuilt because commenters said the part number isn't listed on CyberPower's site (likely Walmart-only) and that Reddit reports a poor-quality PSU (and possibly questionable RAM brand) with generally not-good CyberPower reviews.
People who rely on the exact components shown on the box because Walmart reviews with pictures reportedly claimed the components inside didn't match what was printed on the packaging.
Business-only users who don't plan to game because the deal's gaming-focused CPU/GPU is described as overkill for typical business work, with a suggestion that a reliable under-$1000 option exists for that use case.
The specific Walmart part number reportedly does not appear on CyberPower's website, which can indicate a Walmart-specific build with lower-tier components or QC.
At $1699, it lands in the $1600-$1700 range many expected for a 9800X3D + RTX 5070 Ti prebuilt. It is also viewed as cheaper than assembling comparable parts yourself, especially once sales tax is added.
The PSU is the main concern, with reports that it is a cheap, poor-quality unit that many would replace. The memory brand has also been questioned, and Walmart reviews with photos say some internal components did not match what was printed on the box.
The build has an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Gigabyte WINDFORCE SFF GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB, Asus TUF GAMING B850-PLUS WIFI motherboard, TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, and an MSI SPATIUM M480 PRO 2TB NVMe SSD. It also includes a CyberPowerPC-branded water cooler.
I was expecting to see 5070 TI+9800x3d builds hit $1600-1700 for / by BF. So it's nice to see that it finally did. I'm guessing we will see similar prices as we approach Black Friday to move inventory. I believe inventory is sitting based on my checking of Micro Center for similar builds.
From people on Reddit who got it I don't see any complaints on parts except cheap PSU.
With sales tax it still gets close to Andromeda Insights without one...
This PN does not show up on CyberPower's website. I understand that is because it is assembled specifically for Walmart, which as far as my research can determine means that it probably gets some of the lowest tier parts and QC they offer. Apparently the power supply is known to be a poor quality one- so people on Reddit who commented on this build state that one should expect to replace it. Supposedly the memory brand is also questionable. Reviews on CyberPower PC's on Costco's website are generally not good either. I know I can get this deal- but I am going to purchase something I won't feel like is carelessly thrown together and/or made with some low quality components.
Has anyone seen exact specs (probably from someone who bought) ?
If you visit the Walmart webpage for this product, someone left a review with pictures of the box with pictures of the some of the list of components. By reading the reviews on Walmart's webpage, some have stated that the components used inside the PC were not the same as what was printed on the box.

When I compared Andromeda to other brands months ago, the parts were not as good, usually older chipsets than competitors, 1 TB, etc.
OK, grabbed it in local Walmart.
If something great pops-up just before BF - I can still return it till Thanksgiving day
That was my plan initially (my online order stated returns are accepted until January 31st, 2026). I purchased it, but returned it already. I run a small (struggling) business (and need a reliable computer). This is a huge purchase for me, so I'm going to have to buy something that I'll feel better about.

This PC has a gaming GPU and CPU that are much higher-end than most people who just "need a reliable computer" require. I'm not sure if you want a dual-purpose PC that you'll use for AAA-level gaming and your business but if you don't you can get a reliable PC that will be good for typical business work for way under $1000.

My last work (home business) computer was a custom built gaming rig from CyberPower...purchased in 2013 and still running strong today. Never used for gaming but feel while these specs are overbuilt for business purposes they tend, or at least in my mind, to be more reliable than lesser expensive models over time. Not sure where the cost/benefit breakage line exists but would rather spend a few extra $ and not have to worry about my work pc. Would be great if I can score a heavily discounted pre-built this holiday.
This is still available near me. Should I bite the bullet then return before January 31st if something better comes up?
Only you can answer that, but I think you know what the answer is. You're not going to beat the return policy for a fully built PC better than this. It gives you three months to find a better deal, which is an eternity when it comes to computer tech.
The only real question is the ethical aspect, but that is completely separate from what you're asking.
The only question is, do you have any ethical concerns about doing that?
