I got this from another slick deal. Works well for light duty item like 2 inch wood screws. Broke trying to screw in a 3/8 inch lag screw. Harbor freight bauer version of this was longer and more stout. Would recommend it over this.

Do you have a link? Couldn't find what you're referring to on Harbor Freight

I have probably bought half a dozen of these things over the years when I spot one on sale.
I can never find them, including last night, when i actually had an appropriate use for them, and end up having to kludge together some crazy combination of wobbles, vice grips, and whatever else is at hand. I don't think i have ever actually used one, come to think of it.

There is a warrior version that is crap. If they had a Bauer version they no longer sell it.

These things are always a massive disappointment and barely handle any torque

"Does not rotate during use"
Probably doesn't drill very well, then.

I bought a Lexivon one on Amazon and use it with a Makita impact driver. It has taken everything I have used it for. Four times the price, but I think it will last more than four times longer.

I had one of these. The part you put the socket in broke on first use. 🤕

I have a 25 year old Craftsman version of this. It lives in my drill case. I've use it sooo many times over the years, it works amazing for what it's designed to do.
I was intrigued by this one for stocking stuffers but I think you guys have talked me out of it.

I've never understood the point of these things. They're not rigid, so they require finger pressure to push/keep the head in place (i.e. can't lean into it like normal drill usage). So, at that point, why not just use a screwdriver?
