Customer support told me it is the 2024 version of the Kindle.

I haven't seen a non-backlit version in years. But the QVC website is pretty light on specifics like UPC or model. All the reviews on the webpage are from the human stains on Influenster who got the item for free, powered it up and did the most minimal effort to snap a pic 18 seconds after boot up so no help there. It looks backlit in their pics, but hard to say with certainty.

"adjustable front light" so that means the screen is backlit so you can read in the dark correct?

I've been out of the kindle game for a while and I know at one point there were 2 models one that was backlit and one that was not.

Cool thanks, didn't think to look at the reviews. One of the pictures shows the box and it says gen 11 which is the current model.
