Same - this is my first water flosser and it's worked great for a couple months now. My dentist told me the same thing, that the water flossers work fine for day to day stuff, but you still want to choose conventional floss intermittently. Like having your car washed by a touchless car wash vs. using a sponge yourself - both do the job, one just does it a little more precisely/better.

I bought my first water flosser almost a year ago and I thought it would be enough to replace normal flossing. I was very wrong and wish I had just kept my normal flossing routine.

I've recently noticed degradation in my overall oral health as I now have cavities between my teeth even though I have brushed and used the water flosser daily. I've now added normal flossing after the water floss and the floss still picks up bits of plaque. So a word of warning to anyone thinking this will be enough to replace normal flossing — it won't.

I like this even better than the real WaterPik brand. My dentist advises to use half water and half Listerine. With the WaterPik, the tank gets sticky and hard to remove. This brand twists off much more easily. I bought one for $10, and this $7 is a backup. Charge it about once a week.

Code still works! You need to select "Resource's team" as the seller. It only works on white one and Amazon is the default seller for me.
