If anyone else is looking for it, I found shortyman24's instructions quoted here: https://slickdeals.net/f/18686347-metro-by-t-mobile-256gb-motorola-razr-2024-5g-gray-30-days-60-prepaid-plan-65-free-shipping?p=1797
And here is the software to unlock it if you're lucky and get an older android version: https://xdaforums.com/t/how-unloc...t-90088027
But it seems like they're mostly sending on ones that are on android 15 now.
or

The Razr 2024 deal is mainly attractive as a cheap way to get a foldable phone and, for some units, a path to Metro or T Mobile unlock. The phone includes a preinstalled screen protector, ships without a signature requirement, and can be activated with eSIM or a physical SIM. The biggest draw is the low first month price, with extra lines sometimes dropping to $30 or $35. The main catch is unlock uncertainty, since success appears tied to Android 14 and older security patches, while Android 15 or later updates often trigger server errors or a 180 day lock message. Screen durability and fold damage also remain a concern, making it a tempting but risky pickup.
The unlock process can succeed on some Android 14 builds using the XDA unlock tool.
The deal can work for multiple Razr orders when the first activated phone enables ordering additional units.
The phone can become usable on an existing Metro account after the activation and registration steps.
The phone can be set up with eSIM when no SIM card is included in the box.
Unlock eligibility can fail depending on Android version and security patch timing, including Android 15 units.
The Moto Unlock app can get stuck on a SERVER_NOT_REACHABLE error code 200 during the unlock step.
Unlock attempts can show an 180-day requirement screen and remove the permanent unlock option.
The fold screen can be at risk for damage, making the $65 offer a potential gamble if the screen fails.

Interesting, thanks! Maybe its my browser. It's still showing "this item is only available in stores".
I tried in Safari and it just says "Out of Stock".
weird!
Once core firmware has been updated there are certain aspects of the phone that can not be downgraded due to anti-rollback features and why trying to flash an older firmware does not make a phone eligible to unlock.
When you update the core firmware it installs the latest security update up to the point of the core firmwares release.
From user reports it seem the core firmware version cutoff is November 2024 manufacturing date phones. Those can be unlocked if on the original late 2024 security update or if only the security was updated to Jan 2025. If you were sent a phone with Jan 2025 A14 core firmware and Jan 2025 security update it appears the software unlock does not work
