I got one. It would be nice if it's on android 14 and I can unlock it immediately but for $65 I'm willing to put it in a drawer for a year.
If anyone else is looking for it, I found shortyman24's instructions quoted here: https://slickdeals.net/f/18686347-metro-by-t-mobile-256gb-motorola-razr-2024-5g-gray-30-days-60-prepaid-plan-65-free-shipping?p=179753944#post179753944
And here is the software to unlock it if you're lucky and get an older android version: https://xdaforums.com/t/how-unloc...t-90088027
But it seems like they're mostly sending on ones that are on android 15 now.

I bought a second Razr for $35 but I cannot activate the second line since I don't know the new phone number. I don't remember how I got the phone number from the first line.

In addition, the Metro app on my first phone kept crushing as long as it's logged in. Is anyone having the same issue?

Find the email that tells you that your order has shipped. At the bottom there will be the word "here" that is a link. You can follow that link and fill out the information to activate the phone online.

Yes. But if you leave this phone as is, then it will take 30 days + another 30 for the grace period metro allows customers to restore their account.

If after activating and registering your new account for the RAZR you login on the website and move the lines service to another phone then the RAZR will be free to use immediately after on an existing metro account
thanks

If it's your first metro phone, it looks like you can activate before you get the phone, but maybe not actually log in to your account:

The link directly from the "Ready. Set. Activate!" email didn't work for activation for me because it wants the phone number and the email just had the order number, but if you go to https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/order-status you can activate from the order number that was in that email. It will also tell you your phone number.

However, I wasn't able to actually log in because it sent a 2FA code to the phone. (The email they sent to verify my email address said "Once verified, this email can be used to authenticate and access your account" but when I actually tried to log in it didn't offer to send the 2FA code via email.)

Not that it really matters for me since my phone is apparently going to arrive tomorrow.

Why is this marked expired? Deal shows live for me on their website. Ah, I see, deal is still valid but it appears out of stock. Wouldn't call that expired. At least not yet. Smilie
