Do you use the stand, or did you just hang 'em on your pegboard?

Wait...they're charging you for store pickup now? Get real.

I'd let them know I'm buying them from someplace more expensive, just to prove a point.

Menards "everyday 11%" rebate was kind of scam. Back in a days, when it offered real rebates, like free after rebate or very low cost after rebate was real deal. But why now everyday 11% rebate? Why don't they just cut the price by 11%?

Everyday low price is $17.99, so after sale and rebate, only $5 of savings (per the product page) And if you order online to pick up, then only $3.50 of savings.

They are charging if you want an employee to go fetch the product for you, and have it waiting in willcall.

You can walk in, find the product yourself, and buy it at the register for free.

The shelf tag says the product is $29.99.

Menards puts the "every day low price" cheaper in the sales ads because some states sued them about the rebates a few years ago.

Same as every so often the 11% Rebate ends for a month; just so Menards can comply with some local law somewhere.

So envious of all the folks who have Menards near by! We are stuck with Home depot and Lowes and Ace with much higher prices!

Probably not the same price in-store as it is online, like many places.

Also, if a company is SO DESPERATE to min/max revenue for taking 2 minutes of a min-wage employee's time to fetch an order where the store is making no less than 300% markup on the item....then it's probably already doomed.

It's Menards. The weirdest Hardware store in the world.

It's impossible to explain to people that there is a grand piano on the 2nd floor that serenades the customers all weekend long.

Because it gets people in the door. As 99% of consumers care about the lowest price. But banking on probably 50% of people who purchase. From Menards never complete the rebates thus. it's more of a marketing

Menards sucks. The 11% rebate isn't a true rebate, it's store credit. You save nothing. The quality of their private label products is atrocious, to boot. MasterCrap doors, MasterFarce tools. I'll gladly go to Ace or Lowe's instead. Plus, no awful in-store ads on the PA.
