I recently bought this backpack and am now traveling with it. It is comfortable and I found the pockets very reasonable. It does run very hot (I was sweating like an animal in Osaka despite wearing linen shirt). and like many reviewers mention, it doesn't stand up on its own. the rain cover stored at the bottom of the pack makes the bottom uneven. If you don't mind those aspects it's a good pack.
I picked up the 30L version a couple weeks ago for this price. Personally I'm glad I didn't get anything smaller. I swapped out the insert for something a little smaller (still holds body + 2 or 3 lenses) and that put more room in the top stash area for personal items. With the default insert that top area doesn't hold very much (room for a lot of camera gear though). Maybe ok if you're solo but not much if you're hauling personal items with a family/kids.
Definitely a well made pack. Build quality is step above most other packs.
Shimoda makes probably the best camera bag in the market!!! I own two of them (50l Action X and 40l Explorer) and even fully loaded they are so comfortable to wear! You definitely pay for the quality but two thinks you don't cheap out on...camera bags and tripods!

The one in the listing doesn't appear to have a waist strap or sternum strap. The one I posted doesn't have a waist but I do like its pockets better
great bag for mirrorless gear. plus holds my 15" mac book air.
