Question about the fan. When not attached to the phone, will the fan automatically stop or do you have to manually turn it on and off every time?

Light and fan both activate when the phone is attached. There is also a button on the back to manually turn it off if you don't want them.

I have the old one 7.5w I want to say. I use it overnight to charge.

Currently on ip17pro. Is this considered fast charging to damage the battery or is that not a thing in 2025

Note that the button controls the fan and light together, is clyou can't control one without the other. But as another poster said, the light turns off after a minute

I use clear mounting tape and just stick them over old MagSafe stands to update them to the newer version lol
