These are a scam. I purchased them through a deal like this and the gift cards were declined everywhere I tried to use them. Walmart, Amazon, PayPal, and Dodge Dealer Service all declined my Amex Gift Card. I did a chargeback and thankfully got my money back. I would never purchase these cards again because they can't be used anywhere. I don't know how such a large company can get away with selling these scam gift cards.

Stay away from these cards. I bought them last year, when similar offer was available. They are always rejected, very very difficult to reach customer service. It is not worth the pain and suffering for $10 or $20.

Just bought 2 and immediately used to pay elec bill (which doesn't charge extra for cc payment). No issues at all. Amex is one of my fav companies bec of their customer service in case there is a problem.
It's late so before I buy these, I'll need to go thru my notes again to re-live the hell I paid to use these cards the last time and see if I want to torture myself again. By reading my notes, I'm sure I'll have nightmares so I'll wait until morning.

I managed to buy $300 X 2 of these for a $40 statement credit, that was the offer I got.
It was a PITA just to buy them.
After the first purchase went so well I attempted to buy a second.
Then fraud alerts everywhere and it wouldn't go through.
Two days later I get a call from AMEX and have to go through a torturous process to verify my identity, it's successful. I'm told to complete the GC purchase.
I try again and get a message:

So I just click resubmit order and have to enter all my details again and it finally goes through.
Now there are 3 X $300 charges on my AMEX and one $300 credit pending.
And now I have to figure out how to actually spend them, Amazon is there if nothing else.
My offer was $10 off $200. I bought a card and added it to Google Pay and Apple Pay without any problems. Then, I went to Kroger, purchased some items, and paid using Google Pay without any issues.
