Bought one of these from a previous deal. Very happy with it and bought another color today.

Of course on bigger sizes only. Again the responsible man gets screwed and left carrying the rest
I imagine they make what will sell?

Why do car companies make so many white, black, silver and gray cars? That's what will sell easily. Dealers generally don't want weird colors on the lot because they might sit there for 3-6-12 months until that one "I love cornsilk blue!" shopper comes onto the lot.

Seems like average quality and thin. A reviewer even got sunburned while wearing this. Pass.

Sizing availability also depends a lot on overstock. If a company made too many of a certain size, that's what goes on sale. They get sizing demographics wrong all the time and need to readjust to move inventory. Y'all need to chill out when it comes to thinking someone or something is out to get you just because the world doesn't fit you perfectly. Yeah I saw the same review and came on here to mention it. I would take the sun protection claims with a heavy grain of salt if a 90 minute walk resulted in sun burns all over.

One vampire leaves a review and it wipes out the other 20 reviews that are happy with the sun protection. People are so funny.

I have read research that says dark colors give better protection than light ones, so pay attention to that in reviews.

That just points to inconsistencies in quality. One of the reviewers like the shirt he bought in early 2024 so he bought another one January 2025 and he said the new shirt was larger and 'a lot thinner.' The reviewer who got the sunburn bought his shirt late 2024. Most of the positive reviews from people who actually wore them out in the sun all day were from pre-2024. It's entirely possible that they used to be thick enough to justify the rating but aren't anymore. Seems like a reasonable thing to imagine happening from a no-name brand shirt company selling $8 shirts on amazon. Not sure how accurate camelcamelcamel is but apparently these shirts used to be $22. Now the fake 'regular price' is $18 after years of inflation and fresh tariffs. Just saying...

Nah, that research comes from desert people wearing black but it is more complicated than just the color.
