Is it worth it or do you think it will go lower soon? My son wants this game.
I would think $25-$30 for b.f. is probably close to where it will be. It will also hit $10 next year, so it depends on how much you value getting the newest one out.

I paid $30 last year. I know it went down to $10 around March-ish I think. I'll just keep watching. I know it will go lower. He's 13 so he doesn't care.

I played and enjoyed the version last year doing just grinding getting cards and leveling up in single player mode. You should know though that it's not a static game and if you like going through that route, there's an inflation that happens. The game is released with 87's being awesome and 90s being godly and newer and better cards come out which keeps you playing (I spent $0 BTW on packs, it's really not necessary) and by the end of the year you're dumping 90's left and right and are getting the occasional 99. If you like that progression philosophy with different themes (I'm sure they have Halloween themed right now) you'll be disappointed as you'll start right at whenever you buy it. The smartest play for those people is to either pre-order it and play it as soon as it's released and login lots of hours or wait until heavily discounted. Black Friday will drop it down as will Xmas.

Of course digital xbox is full price while disk is nearly half. Whatever, just means they won't get money out of me
They are probably trying to get rid of physical stock would be my guess.
I bought 2025 version on digital when it first came out them bought a $5 copy when the physical prices tanked and they wanted to get rid of stock last year. I will do the same this year and wait for it to bottom out. 2025 is still viable for me to get my fix. Just wish it would come to PC.

Feeling the same way about 2025. Ill wait out for a sub 20 2026 or might just go the whole way and wait for it to be on eaplay.
