For the newer SD'ers who don't know - Target is famous for having the deepest price reductions after Halloween on all of their Halloween candy. The day after Halloween they start the sale at 30 to 40% off and then as the next 2 days move on they increase the discount to 50 to 60 and then eventually to 70 to 80% off. If there is anything left at that point you might even see 90% off the next day. I have gotten large bags of snickers, twix, Hershey's, Reese's, and other chocolate-based candy for as low as almost a dollar a pound sometimes this way over the years. But you have to visit the brick and mortar stores in person to do this all because it's in store only.

Lowest chocolate candy deal was two weeks ago- Walgreens BOGO +20% off which came to .25/oz.
Have not found better.

Deals like this one at .30/oz are the best I've seen currently, if you still need to pick up give out candy now.

Lol I don't know but I feel like I'd more likely to get robbed at a Walgreens vs a Target

FYI, arrives after Halloween. If you don't need it until then, wait for the discount elsewhere!

Yeah they scaled back their line of ball tucking underwear in the children's section.

Why? Target is BY FAR the best general retail store experience you can have (location dependent)... I'd much rather go to Target than Walmart or a drugstore.

I remember when chocolate bars were regularly 2/$1 at checkout. Seems that was only a few years ago.... Sad. Chocolate is rapidly turning into a real luxury item. Not just a, yes-I-know-its-a-luxury-to-eat-this luxury, but an only occasionally luxury. Even Aldi brand chocolate is hitting the .50/ounce price point. A canister of Aldi brand cocoa powder was $4.50 at the store yesterday.

Couple days before Halloween I was able to get a $10 off $20 purchase coupon at CVS for getting a vaccine. They had snack size 10.5 oz bags on sale for BOGO4$1 so it was $7.50 for 2. I ended up with 63 oz of Reese's snack size for $12.47, a final price of 19.79ยข/oz. I don't think we'll ever be seeing prices that low ever again.
