By the same token, I think about 144hz is where you really start to draw the line for what is easily physically noticeable / and where the prices start to skyrocket.
With the except of highly specific games like, pinball for example that will benefit from extreme refresh rates+hardware capable of pushing those frames isn't super expensive.
