I cross shopped this one, the HF, the Kobalt, and the Craftsman one maybe 6 months ago.

They are all very similar. This one actually had really good draw slides and was my runner up choice. The HF one wasn't bad by any means, but the draw configuration wasn't what i was looking for, and the other version only had doors. This one is a bit similar, in that the draw depth isn't much. Fine for some handtools, bit sets, stuff like that, but its about it. I found the craftsman one to have a better draw config.
Otherwise they are all very similar, and i wouldn't be surprised if they came out of the same factory.

Last year you could catch them for 300ish if you paid attention. Doubt they will get quite that low again, but someone always has something similar to this as a BF deal. Pretty sure I paid like 325/350 for my craftsman one in the spring.
Edit: Oh, one of them had a really crappy power strip. I'm guessing the HF one. Not a big deal, I'm sure you could find a better one of a similar size if you care. The only reason I gave it any attention was because I have all of my chargers on it.

Got this for $300 a year. I've been super satisfied with it. It's built stout and comes assembled (HD builds it once you order it so it took a week before I could pick up). Highly recommend.

I know Husky uses third party's to build big items like this so might be identical to other brands. The Husky shelving unit I got was identical to the one at Costco.

I have had this box for probably 8 or 9 years and it has held up well. I had it strapped down in an enclosed trailer for 6 of those years being towed around full of tools, extra quarts of oil, and other misc four wheeling gear. I locked it when towing and it held up great. It's now in my garage as a secondary box.

After I posted this I scoured used market near me and scored the 24" deep model of this for $275 off craigslist. Guy had it for a while before he upgraded to a larger craftsman but it is still in good shape and drawers are still smooth.

Is delivery fee of $55 common on these type of products?

Had mine for several years and it holds up excellent. Purchased at $300 I believe back in the day. Smooth sliders since day one and still just a smooth. Note that only handle side wheels pivot like other rolling chest.

Damn. I just bought it in gray the other day to save $40 off the black one. Now this one is $60 cheaper! I am guessing they do not price adjust if it's a different color?

I have the old 24" deep model too. So stupid they shrunk it to 18". That was a big selling point when everyone else was 18" deep.

I need a 24" one. 18" is just an inch or two shy for my 3D printer

I am seriously considering the Craftsman as well, since it is going on sale at Lowe's. Anything you really like about it compared to the Husky? I want some deeper drawers, not a bunch of shallow ones.

Basically that. It was what sold it for me. I'm very happy for what it is for the price. Would have been nice if they put wheel locks on all 4 wheels, but it isn't the end of the world. I'm not doing anything hardcore on it, its more for storage and a second worktop, that i can wheel around my basement if need be.
I believe the Kobalt one is similar, probably the husky as well, in that you can get the upper tool box and replace the workbench with it if you want to re-purpose it down the road. A used one of those is a dime a dozen for Craftsman. I keep saying one of these days i'll do a proper auto box.
There is a slightly (supposedly) nicer\higher quality one that is a big bigger from Craftsman as well for a few hundred bucks more, and then another one a size up from that which i really liked the layout of, but was a bit too big for where i wanted to park it. You never see them in the stores but they are on the lowes website.

looks like a good deal I am looking for one as a Christmas gift. Is it possible that I can put it in my truck or is it too heavy? Thanks!
