Likely not. Everything of SodaStream I've seen is Made in Israel. Also, these bottles do have an 'expiration date', so that may be the case for this low price, per usual Amazon short dated blow out pricing

I have these... they are smaller volume and thus shorter, but the top is the same and fits in the machine like the others.

They are pressure vessels—the ones here are made of plastic—so the expiration date is essentially an educated guess about how long they will remain free of any risky damage. Of course, the manufacturer doesn't know how many pressure cycles you might go through or how beat‑up the bottle might become. It might be good for additional years, or it might not.

the plastic bottle has pressure tolerances. it will only last so long before it breaks under pressure. it's arbitrary. i use a Soda Sense machine because SodaStream can only carbonate water, while mine can carbonate any liquid.

yes it does. i have the old version. the manufacturer of Soda Sense back in the day used to be made by Drink Mate and it literally shows pictures on their Amazon product page with fruit drinks being fizzed. the infuser literally screws onto the bottle and can be rinsed easily of any liquid left in it. the new Soda Sense is complete crap.

Bottles last up to 2 years? I bought a 20oz Pepsi about 5 years ago, and have been using the bottle for cold water (in the car) ever since. This doesn't compute.

I was worried about the expiration date too, but decided to take the chance. Pretty happy, bottles expire 04/2029. Seems new enough to me.
