It will. And people don't really install many apps anymore do they? But 12GB RAM can get eaten up by Chrome 😂This seems like a good basic PC for *now*. But be prepared to run out of memory and or storage before long.

Yes. The i3 version of this laptop routinely goes on sale for around $200-$220. I have purchased a couple of those, upgraded RAM to 24GB (8 soldered +16 added), slapped in a larger SSD, and given them to family who have been quite happy. They perform very well for 99% of what the average person uses a laptop for.
