It will. And people don't really install many apps anymore do they? But 12GB RAM can get eaten up by Chrome 😂This seems like a good basic PC for *now*. But be prepared to run out of memory and or storage before long.

The laptop has one unsoldered memory slot which allows for upgrades up to 16gb. Also, the SSD can be easily upgraded

Yes. The i3 version of this laptop routinely goes on sale for around $200-$220. I have purchased a couple of those, upgraded RAM to 24GB (8 soldered +16 added), slapped in a larger SSD, and given them to family who have been quite happy. They perform very well for 99% of what the average person uses a laptop for.

How are the keyboard's on this type of budget vivobooks? I went to best buy today and they none on display. Other brand budget laptops in this price range had very cheap flimsy keyboards that bend when you hit the keys. Also, I know the display is FHD, but will it be IPS. The BB specs do not say. My current laptops are 7-8 years old and cannot be updated to Windows 11 and that is really the only reason I am looking to upgrade if that is a good enough reason.
