My experience with Ryobi drill bits is that they are THE WORST I have EVER bought, EVER!!! Stay away. Visit Amazon and order generic Chinese cobalt drill bits. You will be far better off.

Per the review of the bent bit. I have never seen this happen. But, I had a cheap set of bits, once, that had one that came untwisted, drilling through a 2x4. All I could do was laugh, when it happened.
I ordered the High Speed Steel Drill Bit Set 17-Piece set for $10.07. The reviews seem decent. https://www.homedepot.com/p/MIBRO...-n/a-_-n/a

Many I have purchased from Ryobi are substantially low quality. They break with minimal pressure downward. The quick connection ones come loose from the fittings so they become useless. I avoid them now.

FWIW, Ryobi's target audience (and reputation) is the weekend warrior, around the house, light duty folks. No one in construction/mechanic/etc would be caught dead using Ryobi tools for good reason.

That said, Ryobi drill bits have always worked well for me around the house, these are 15 of them for six bucks. It's not a bad deal.

Ryobi HP series out performs dewalt and keeps up with makita but so many like you act like you need commercial grade tools in your house for screwing in a screw on a bird house
