This review said this Anker 140W charger is a NO. It has very poor performance. Overheat very fast at 140W and shutdown very fast. It drop to 100watts after mere minutes and run very hot at 152F degree. And at 100 watts, only stay on for an hour before shutdown. So really what it can get is 100 watts charger for an hour.
And if run at 152F most of the time, this charger is not going to last long since it's hotter than realistic for electrical components to last.

Depends if your wall receptacle is loose / worn out.

This charger is awesome. I have a powerful Lenovo Gaming laptop which has a 300W brick.

While this is obviously 140W and I can't run my laptop at max performance with it (I'm required to have the 300W brick for that), 140W keeps it charging fast even while I'm using it for work with all other max settings.

I like it for the convenience and portability of not having to lug my large 300W brick around, since I travel for work a lot. I leave the brick at my house and have an additional one at my office, and keep this in my bag with me when I am elsewhere and need to charge. I saw someone's question, and I haven't had any issue with it falling out of the wall when plugged in.

I have one and I'm in for another -- it has a tight fit and hasn't fallen out of any outlets.

Is this actually giving 140w on one single port? Or is it total 140w?

What is Costco.Next? It's asking for Costco's membership number. Is this a legit website. I've never had to enter the details before to visit Costco wholesale.

Either of the first two USB-C ports can deliver 140W

Anyone else having trouble logging in? Even costco.com seems to be throwing an error (tried two different devices, and two different internet connections).

The error is from edgesuite.net (Akamai)

It's just different brands that have ties with Costco. Costco next is safe and in fact I've ordered a nomatic bag during their tie up with Costco through Costco next.

So is this like Costco's marketplace? Does anyone know what their return policy is and whether you can return directly at a Costco?

The statement you made is the same statement the review made, which I found to be the weakest part of the review. The rest of the review is good, but this guy simply tested heat characteristics by leaving it plugged in to his test rig--I don't think this is a good test of heat dissipation if he left it on a table next to a bunch of power electronics. Also he didn't test this device for a long time (weeks? months? how many minutes at what temps?) before he made that claim. I think the issue is more that it will throttle down to a reasonable temp at a lower power so the case you make about longevity will not likely happen anyway.
Modern computing is well under 100w unless you're booting up some GenAI or playing graphically intensive games, and PCs that support those features will throttle themselves and ask you to use the OEM brick. That leaves other uses cases to things like, idk, charging your LFP battery bank or something. Maybe don't buy this for that and expect 100w for hours. For smartphones and tablets none of them will need to run at 140w for more than 5-10 minutes.

To be honest I've noticed this about a number of Anker chargers. If you use a device that uses the maximum wattage, the plug just ends up shutting down after some time and not working.
