no hammer only mode. Kills it for me. I have the Ryobi sds hammer drill and it is used more than I ever thought I would. esp in hammer only mode. remove tile, chisel concrete, even dig thru clay dirt for planting (2 foot deep, 3 foot dia)

Thanks OP, this is a great deal. If you are putting lots of screws and bolts in concrete, this tool will save you so much time over standard single hand grip hammer drills.

Dang. Seems like a great deal to me. I've never done bundle deal hacking. Would it work on this? I'm in the Makita ecosystem but I have a battery adapter for Dewalt.

This isn't one of the bundle hacks, you can't return the batteries. You would need a Dewalt charger.

To add on to what the other person said. Typically people will mention if it's hackable. However, you can always tell yourself by adding it to the cart and then if you look at your cart and they show as separate items (with separate individual prices) it's hackable for said separate prices

How does this work? I signed typed in HD military store and was prompted to sign into aafes then redirected back to HD. I tried a few different types of items, but they all still have tax applied at checkout.
The aafes page also states that is only applies to full price items (which I did try).

If you just need the drill, you can get it much cheaper with a hack. $104 for me, but that's with military discount.

I have this. Wish it had chipping mode. Uses SDS bits. Loaned it to my Sonic guy installing our fiber cable. Works like a champ.
