That's the way it always goes on these things. They don't care about loyalty, they care about getting their numbers up.

I bought a 12-month subscription a couple of years ago and still have 8 months or something left. Waiting for good months were I don't already have the good games.

I need a "new" game so badly but I don't want to shell out for VR to try it out. I seen a new katamari is out but 40 is a lil crazy for what I expect to be a 2 hour trample. Ive played over 10,000 games easy so I'm extremely bored with everything just being another clone. Last Time this happened I took a 10 year break and the gfx upgrade an fps fad was enough but it's been 10 years since my last fave r6 seige came out.

Is there anything *new* or just so over the top exciting I won't care that isn't VR? Is VR good? We got a VR studio in my city where you walk around a room but it's like $80 to try it once. Also I noticed some VR controllers posted here just recently don't appear to have hand wrist leashes? No way in hell do I want to swing swords and play the boxing VR games if those aren't secure to my wrists.

Steam deck scratched that itch for me, and i've been playing my epic and gog free games as it feels completely different to a pc. Vr is pretty good but you likely won't be able to play it for long sessions. If ur getting a headset, quest 3S for $250 on sale should be good and comes with wrist straps. Deadpool vr game is coming out on quest this month if that's something you're interested in.

I have been off and on Humble depending on the games. I just subbed again last week so I missed out on their latest promotion.

Generally, when you go to end the subscription, they will offer a retention offer at a discount and sometimes an additional one after that.

The loyalty thing was a joke anyway, there were people who were paused for 10 or 11 months of the year and still considered themselves loyal as long as they didn't cancel.
It really felt like those who cancelled at all feel like they were getting the shaft. It was $12 for those "loyal" but then $20 for everyone else... no thanks. That had to have killed sales because many of the "loyal" people just kept pausing and no one else wanted to pay a higher price.

It typically pays off to wait until the last weekend of the month. They often drop it a fair amount unless it was a popular one, like the Persona 5 bundle was the first that didn't get a discount at the end of the month in a very long time.

I'm not sure what you are all saying here. If you games you don't have then humble is your best way to do that. Also in less than a month we will have the fall sale where you will have tons of options.

Not sure why you keep bringing up VR but if you wanted a good VR headset then there are deals all over this Black Friday (at least in America) for around $250 for the Quest 3S.

Thanks! Code only work for the 1 month tho but good thing I waited not buying yet...

Really wanted to try Atomic Heart but the price was always high so was no rush on waiting for sales since I have a backlog of games anyways!

Not sure why Frogreign is there, its a Play Test (Oct 22 - Nov 26 only) that already is free...

That notice to 'come back to Humble' usually occurs when Humble decides to target a select group of people it identifies as being either new or who haven't subscribed in a long time. I received those notices twice since the first time I subscribed.
