VPFHANM8 seems to still be working, sometimes going through checkout again can help if Amazon is being stubborn.

A lot of slickdealers really seem to struggle to understand the difference between "this product doesn't fit my needs/budget" and "this product is useless."

Nah, this product is junk promoted by SD staff. Absolutely nobody should buy these products. Anyone that says otherwise should never be taken seriously again.
Did you forget your initial criticism was of battery powered pumps in general? What does this product being promoted by staff have to do with the claim that battery powered pumps are junk? Why poison the well by declaring anyone who thinks otherwise shouldn't be taken seriously? It's not this one but I have similar battery-powered inflator. Works great for my use case (filling bike tires and occasionally topping off a car tire with a slow leak). I suppose I shouldn't be taken seriously about anything again because...reasons?

I'm afraid you're arguing with someone who is lacking critical thinking skills. Unfortunately, these skills are not learned through one sided arguments, so that guy probably needs to go to college to improve his brain.

College won't fix ones mind and generally it just promotes to follow instructions. Not to think critically

I agree that there are good rechargeable tire inflators, but they're likely $50+ for anything really good.
These cheap no name tiny ones can barely inflate a car tire.
Also if you're planning on keeping this in your car, for your car mainly, I'd really suggest getting something that is just 12v powered.

I have two tire inflators, one in each car, both 12v powered. Both are over age 15, and still making loud chugging & banging noises when needed. They do "make them like they used to", but everyone seems in love with battery-powered devices. It's a fad, the best part of battery powered: Lawn Mowers! You only get 15-20 minutes of use from a 2 year old battery powered unit, perfect if you really didn't want to mow the lawn. Yawn

reaching out on a limb I'd venture the post by an employee set bait to get $$ aka click bait and they have no experience personally using the product.
