the twins signed jj hardy, thome, and orlando hudson,

we have a pretty solid team it looks like...liriano has been playing well in the south...

how are all the other teams shaping up out there?

and we have a new stadium drool

Why are the Yankees being such cry babies about the catwalk in the Trop? Even though I think that Longoria's pop up should have been an out, the Yankees have known the ground rules for years.

The game the day before was miserable (4+ hour rain delay, 40-50 degree wind blown weather) so I can halfway understand. Still though, they're paid well to perform under any conditions, so that only goes so far.

I haven't seen Heyward in person yet so I'll reserve judgement til then. I'm impressed with his power at the plate so far, but he needs to work on his discipline, which will come with time. Can't speak much for his fielding attributes yet.

And what's up with these random days off in the middle of series? They had one at the Braves' home opener, now another at the Padres'. I'm not gonna complain about this one though, after getting stomped like we did a day off should only help.

The Rays are owning the Red Sox right now. Bring out the brooms for the 4 game sweep! 11 AM game today.

Garza is pitching well right now. 3-0 with a 0.75 ERA. Not too shabby.
