Looks like none of the tool options are actually HP tools. Weird choice but great deal anyway.

What is an HP tool?

I think I found the answer, "High Power" tools with better build quality.

They have extra contacts on the battery so HP tools can make use of the extra 'lanes' if you will boosting amperage/performance if the tool also has compatibility with the extra contacts.

Great deal for a 6 Ah and the impact wrench. I got the impact from DTO for $60 a year ago and like how much kick (torque) it has spinning up. Great for taking lugs off wheels. Considering two 4 Ah non-HP were $100 not too long ago with a tool bundled.

looks like it should... I just checked with the impact gun and it shows that the batteries would decrease to 81ish after return of tool.

HP batts with non-HP tools. They must be getting desperate and/or cheap.

Need HP batteries, is this a good deal for $80+? Haven't bought batteries in a couple of years not aware of the pricing lately. Thanks!

Super simple. You have 2 options.
Adding the battery + tool to your cart shows it as 2 separate items at reduced prices to add up to (in this case) $139.
Option 1: Do pickup option at 2 different home depots, pick up only the desired item, and let the other item lapse; they'll refund you that listed price in the cart after X days.
Option 2: Do pickup at 1 home depot, pick up both items, return the unwanted item to the same home depot (or a different one if you're paranoid) for an immediate refund.
And whatever permutations there are of this hack. The idea is that because they show up as 2 separate items, they can be returned/refunded individually. So whatever you want to do to essentially not pick up or return the unwanted item.
