I checked 1 of my local 3 SC. There were 4 pallets of them in the building that I saw up on the racks. The sales tag indicated C stock, so its going away permanently. Wonder what is coming in before BF to replace it?
Wound up buying one and returning it with the receipt from my previous purchase to get the price refund (store wouldn't adjust price on the purchase from last week).
Called Sam's support and got the warranty refunded without any hassle.
Still one left at the Houston Willowbrook Sam's for anyone local.
Such an insane deal. I have the 85" QN90A. Bought it through EPP when they had the free tablet, 10% extra discounted when you asked to cancel, and additional warranty. I think it was $1600 way back when. The set still continues to impress. It's so bright, colorful, amazing blacks, and super fast response time for gaming. Watching the World Series in 4K right now. Sports are about as it gets on these Samsungs. Never once missed Dolby Vision.
$1900 if shipped, and $1200 for pickup. Not bad at all for pickup but we'd have to rent a truck.
Got mine last week here in Central Florida and ended up using this new app called Drive & Tow, it's on both Apple and Android. Basically, it connects you with local pickup truck drivers, everything's handled through the app.
I found a nearby driver with GMC Sierra, and the TV fit perfectly flat in the bed. Not sure how active it is in other areas since it's still a pretty new service, but it worked great for me. Cost me around $52 total, and I didn't have to deal with the hassle of renting a truck.

Wondering if the adaptive tone mapping on the newer TVs is good enough to make the lack of Dolby vision not so important. More and more of the streaming services are supporting HDR 10 plus now also
I have a LG C4 and this TV. You will not be able to tell a difference between HDR10 + or DV.
I have a 75" QN90A I bought a few years ago. I am thinking of buying this to jump up to the 85". Nothing wrong with the QN90A I have, but I already have a 75" in my bedroom and may just move it to the larger guest bedroom and remove the 55" in there. My area is not worth trying to resell for anything near a decent price. Hmmm decisions....
I've been considering this TV since it was !$1499. Concerned from reading avsforum and reddit that the set is abandoned from Samsung for firmware support after reading a lot of the reviews about random picture quality issues. Can anyone comment on their satisfaction with the PQ on standard high def TV like Fox Sports, ESPN, OTA?
PQ is better then my C4 if that helps. Not 1 issue ever
