The reality is that people who comment that 'brushed are bad' are typically homeowners that barely use tools and regurgitate internet lore. In the heavy industry brushed tools have been used for decades with no issues. Infact, noone in industry gives two Fs if something is brushed or not because having the right tool for the job (including powering said tools) is part of logic and the job at hand.
