As someone interested in getting into a portable battery for camping and power outages, is this a good price for this range? I held out when everyone was transitioning to LifePo4 batteries and wonder if prices will continue to drop or not.

Yes, this is a good price. Black Friday is coming up and there may be slightly better discounts then, but this is a good deal for the current time.
Prices will continue to improve in a year or two or more. Up to you when you're ready to buy.

This vs the Anker Solix c1000 gen 2?
C1000 is slightly narrower, weighs 25lbs vs 29lbs. Probably a little quieter and better built, better app etc. Stronger inverter (2000W vs 1800W), AC charging at up to 1600W vs 1000W. 140W USB-C vs probably 100W USB-C.
E1000LFP has stronger 12V inputs/outputs (Up to 20A input, 20A output), more flexible solar input. Battery heating is unique in this segment, operates only from AC input (can't self-heat unfortunately). Has cheap and flexible expansion battery options - Pecron 3kWh expansion battery is $700 and you can buy a cable to configure DIY batteries, external MPPT, etc.
If you have basic needs, the C1000 is probably a slightly better unit. Stronger AC inputs/outputs, better USB, smaller. Maybe a little more expensive but there will be deals below $400 for sure.
If you have more advanced needs, the E1000 is either stronger (DC in/out) or the C1000 is just not a consideration (battery expansion, DIY 48V bus, self-heating battery).

Thank you! Yeah like every other piece of tech. Better to wait till there's a need over a want! 🍻

I ordered from a 3rd party site, and it shipped direct from Pecron CA warehouse in City of Industry, CA. Order to delivery was 7 days via FedEx.
