Just got mine in yesterday, it looked slightly used no more than someone using it for less than a few weeks to months. The battery was branded with a big R guessing they refurb or tested the cells before sending it back out. I blew my front porch, driveway, sidewalk, street, and my neighbors driveway. Battery indicator said 50% consumed. It's a bit loud high pitch so still recommend wearing earpros when running it. Sure beats having to smell gasoline.

Does it come with the strap?

I had ordered a Worx corded 800 CFM leaf blower ($69.99) just a day before this deal was posted. I wanted a high CFM leaf blower and was not thinking to spend a lot for a cordless one as they run around 250-300.
When I saw this deal I changed my mind. For spending little more I am getting a cordless 800 CFM (which is being sold at Costco for 289). I had read mixed reviews of the renewed quality of Greenworks so I was skeptical. I called the customer service and they said within 90 days they will fix any issues and in some other threads I read that people had success in getting a replacement (there is no return as all sales are final). So pulled the plug yesterday. Looks like the shipping is fast. It is already with FedEx (coming from NC).
I will update when it arrives and I use it for a day or two.

How to test these batteries. I have a multimeter but I don't see any straight forward video on how to test.
Charge to full then run it to see where it gets you. If it gets to close to estimated, you're good.

Good advice, tho I find the published runtime estimates are "optimistic", to put it kindly.
These blowers suck the battery pretty quickly, whether brand new or renewed. Especially if you run them on full blast or turbo.

Yup, mine came with a brand new strap. This greenworks blower is heavier than my 2 stroke poulan blower it's replacing. I'm a pretty fit guy and itll be a workout blowing an entire yard with this device w/o a strap, especially after edging and mowing. I have a few 2ah batteries that I'll swap into it and see if it makes it more enjoyable.

A brand new battery will charge to about 82.9v, after a few use and charge cycles it moves up a little to about 83, both taken a few minutes after charging stop. Voltage will read about 0.2v higher if taken immediately after charging stops.

Mine is coming tomorrow, hoping it will be in like-new condition. I already have their 60v blower but have only 6 amps of power between two 60v batteries, whereas I have several 80v batteries I can use for this refurb. These blowers go through batteries fast, 10 to 20 minutes on a 4 amp.

I have the corded Worx and really like it. I have no issues with huge piles of wet leaves. I am considering this one more for the battery to use in my mower, but I'd probably use both blowers at the same time if I had it. Too many trees, too many leaves.

I'm staying away from these refurbished units. Anyone have any experience with them?
I've purchased 2 refurb blowers and a refurb mower from Greenworks. Zero issues with either. The mower had a scratch on one of the plastic covers but beyond that everything looked and functioned like brand new.

I bought same unit. Compare to my old kobalt 80v with 50% battery life Greenworks has less performance and battery last about the same. I was unable to return item due to being"renew" item. Please read policy or buy with credit card with purchase protection

Can add up to 4 years extend warranty for $16+(15% off code works on it too), sounds pretty good!
