These plans are all the same. I got rely 5g for 30$ a month somehow. It's suppose to be 35$ but they gave some random 5$ promo, with a 200$ prepaid card that came in 2 months..
it's gonna be area dependent but I get 500-700Mbps download, around 50Mbps upload

They just take their time sending your $300 GC. The plan for them is to take a couple of billing cycles to get your GC to you and then some people will forget about their plan to drop to the lower plan. More people would forget to downgrade vs someone upgrading from 50to70 later. The few who forget to downgrade offset the loss of those who do.

I pay $45 a month for ATT 300 up/down fiber connection per month. It used to be $30 a month 3 years ago, keeps going up.. Cell Service for Home Internet just seems like a last resort..
Yes. Nothing can match fiber upload speed. Everyone else tells you to download speed but avoid telling you the upload speed

I was previously with COX and was getting tired of the constant disconnects (I play online poker for a living, and the constant disconnections were quite literally costing me thousands of dollars per year). COX has pretty much been a monopoly in my area, but 5G home internet finally offered an alternative. I decided to give T-mobile a shot and it has been rock solid.

I signed up earlier this summer when they were running one of these promos. I went with the Rely plan for $40/month ($5 discount for signing up for automatic payments). I submitted the rebate right away and was keeping an eye on the status for the promo and I think it was 4 months in it finally went from "pending" to "denied." Here we go I thought... Any how, reached out to their customer service and the rep said that the system denied it because I didn't have a qualifying plan although he acknowledged that the Rely plan was in fact eligible for the promotion. He said he would resubmit the offer and the system would pick it up the second time.

Once again, I kept an eye on the status for the pre-paid card and it again got denied. Contacted CS again, and again was given the same story, system denied it due to plan not qualifying but the plan I had does in fact qualify for the promo. The rep said that the previous rep did not "escalate" the re-submission and this rep was going to re-submit it and escalate the submission and I should get the pre paid card and even schedule a call back with me to confirm that I received the card. I believe this was on a Saturday and on Monday I received the email with my $200 pre paid card. Both reps did offer to credit me $200 in bill credits on the spot (in lieu of the pre paid card), but I declined that offer and insisted on the card instead.

Anyhow, just wanted to add this data point. This has been a huge upgrade from COX and will do until we get Fiber in my area. The $200 gift card was just the cherry on top.

Terms state if you have canceled lines in the last 90 days , no but otherwise don't see why not.

Just FYI they will give a run around for the $300 Prepaid card and deny you for the promo if youre a current tmobile mobile customer. If you Google this issue theres countless people who had to call CS or Tforce snd complain why they been denied the promo including myself. They did give me a $300 bill credit instead of the prepaid card instead.

As others have stated, expect a battle for the rebate. I'm going through it right now.

They denied me and said I picked the wrong thing when submitting the request (they have tons of options and it's impossible to know you got the right one or not. After contacting them it seems like instead of offering to help me get my $300 gift card they're just going to give me $300 credit which I don't even want since I likely won't use their service.
Ouch! That sucks.

Is this a good deal for people who live in an area with no fiber/cable access? FIOS is offering 300 mbps for 35 bucks all in in my area (Long Island) with a 3 year price lock. This is for consistent speed and for what I heard 5g doesn't provide consistent speed. 50 a month for cellular based service that varies considerably is hardly a deal.

I combined this with Capital Shopping rewards of $400 and signed up 2 weeks ago, so total reward is $700. This is my second time. I already did this last year and got both rewards from Capital One Shopping and T-mobile. My wife(She has her own T-mobile account) also did this last time and got both rewards. This year, my wife capital shopping didnt show the offer yet. We are waiting for my wife to order again once her Capital One shows the offer.

If you live under a cell tower. Otherwise upload speeds are horrible, especially during rush hour and nights.
Actually, being too close to a cell tower can make your signal worse. Our tower's in a church parking lot right behind our house, and T-Mobile 5G showed only two bars. The antennas point outward, not straight down, so living under one can be just as bad as being too far away.

Also going through it, they did actually send a $100 GC , but I should have qualified for $300 based on plan.

They claim to have escalated and that I should receive it as bill credit.

Still shady seeing the number of reports on here of rebate Processing issues.
