The trick with waiting till black friday for a better deal is you might deal on a NEW MBP, but it's much more hit or miss if you'll be able to get a open-box deal, and open-box will almost always be better deal than new.

Been contemplating either trading in my M1 for 600 or getting a M4 Studio
I didnt check if it was an option for the openbox items, but the other day it generated a quote from a link on the new page. My bad, basically thinking out loud.

A pro tip about Open Box from Best Buy - Apple will reset the warranty to the day you purchased the computer if you call them and send in your best buy reciept.

On the flip side I bought 2 high-value TV's that were open box and they were like new!
YMMV, and be prepared to return it if it's not what you expect.
