I'm new in the gaming monitor world, my brother got me a nice Asus TUF monitor, very nice. but I heard a lot of these companies have high refresh rate, but the actual display isn't that nice; in terms of contrast, brightness, motion blur. might be fast fps, but sacrificing a lot. anyone have any experience with these?

"it offers a wide color gamut, smooth VRR performance and a fast response time speed, which is why we highly recommend it... Overall, the KTC H27T22S is the best budget 1440p gaming monitor."
(FYI, I am showing $119.38 for this)

You really need to be checking for in depth 3rd party reviews before buying (like rtings.com or MonitorsUnboxed on youtube). The displayninja reviews can be hit or miss only because they might only give you a an expanded product specs article rather than actual testing the monitor. Their H27T22S review actually shows full testing and it looks pretty good for a budget high refresh IPS monitor. There are better monitors out there, but nothing comes close to this price as you need a good IPS w/FALD backlight or OLED panel to get a meaningful jump in quality.
I got a main 34" QD-OLED ultrawide and a secondary 27" 165hz IPS that just died on me outside of warranty so I'm grabbing the KTC to replace it. It is really hard to beat $118.63+tax for a decent panel and I can't justify spending $200+ for 4K120hz IPS or $380 for another OLED for mostly Youtube/Discord.
