Wouldn't the installed OS be a non-issue if you just plug in a Shield or similar device into one of the available HDMI inputs?

Apparently Best Buy allows returns till Jan 15 for anything purchased after 10/31 but I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on the open box deal because I read that you don't get the LG warranty on an open box item

Me too. Unloaded my $150+ in Rewards Certificates and some gift cards, and stacked it with the AMEX $25 credit for $250 spend.

First time buying open box/excellent so we'll see how it goes. I do wonder if the warranty is honored fully by LG or not?

My c4 is shit when it comes to the webos. Takes like 15 sec for the settings menu to open lol.I have the settings all tuned so I don't have to go in there often these days but when I do, my golly it's slow af for a premium tv
