AMD just released an update that deprioritizes Day 1 game optimizations for RDNA 1 and 2 cards.

They are basically saying screw your old cards only after 5 years of existence. So this card may get deprioritized in 2030 if they double down on their BS.

Hold your money unless they retract their stupid decision.

Gotcha. Well then 600 or less. Potential BF deals?

I highly doubt that AMD is going to go to below MSRP this time (especially the 9070XT). Its disappointing but it took them this long to come down to MSRP.

I concur. If the 9070 XT hasn't been reduced below $600 by now then I don't see it happening anytime soon unless AMD has an upcoming lineup of new RDNA GPUs a/b to release and there's a bit of overstock retailers are trying to liquidate w/o cutting into their margins.

I think this is the BF/CM price/deal. I just got the 9070 (non XT) and it's a great card. I probably should have waited for BF/CM but it is what it is. I made a quick unboxing and size comparison video of it if it's helpful for anyone. These are HUGE cards btw.

If you're playing battlefield and have an Intel CPU avoid AMD GPUs; constantly crashes. Tried 30+ different "fixes" nothing works. Lowering settings "helps" but then what's the point of the having the best sh*t? My Red Devil is on eBay 5080 is in my PC
Interesting. My 9800X3d + 9700XT kills it in BF6.

I think once the rtx super line up releases amd will cut prices a bit.

If the 5070 super really has 18gb of vram with a 5-10 percent perf boost with the same 550 msrp I think the 9070 xt will def need to be like 500-550 to compete

Sad that MSRP is considered a deal.

It wouldn't affect the 9000 series anyways. It was still a scummy move though.

After all the backlash they also backpedaled.
