Can anyone speak to this leaf blower in comparison to the frontpage Greenworks 800 CFM refurb?

I have had a 530 CFM, then 650 CFM blower and can compare to a Dewalt Battery powered blower. EGO's are good, never had issue with the blower itself. Much stronger than the Dewalt. The issue with any battery is natural degradation, you absolutely need to warranty register it immediately and track Turbo power over 4 years. I've warrantied one battery as my Turbo length decreased after 2.5 years of regular usage 3 times a week.

I bought this blower back in May of 2024 and its a solid product. I have about 1/4 of an acre and use two 4.0Ah batteries, obviously this depends how much you use the "Turbo" button. The more you use it the faster the battery depletes. It also comes with a tapered attachment that focuses the blowing and makes it stronger. The trimmer is also great. I would recommend these both!

It depends on how you use it. If it's set at a steady speed, it lasts 30 min or so. If you fluctuate, 20 sounds accurate.

I have the EGO system (and Ryobi for power tools) for lawn maintenance including chain saw, pruning saw, trimmer, mower, snow broom, etc. And I can attest that blower and trimmer are probably the best in the market. One thing you'll realize is that Ego batteries are very expensive and sometimes will suddenly die on you. So getting the warranty is very important. A very helpful plus is basic knowledge of electricity especially when it comes to Li-ion batteries. My batteries (originals that came with the mower and chain saw) are running on a 5yr period so far. And I've only change a couple of dead cells (hence basic electrical knowledge is very helpful).

I have both and they work really well. Battery life isn't super great on the blower. I use it to get water off the vehicles after washing and for blowing off the driveway and sidewalks after mowing. I do use the Turbo mode a lot, so that could be part of the problem. I need a set for a another property we bought, so I'll probably grab this as it is a nice deal.

If you do buy it, make sure o register it with Ego right away and have the receipt. The original blower I received was a gift and I didn't think to register it. A switch or something went on it and Ego made a one-time exemption for a replacement.

Really wish they included the 800 CFM in these deals, paid almost $300 for that one along at Costco.

And store it indoors during winter and avoid or limit fast charging it.

Yup, these batteries are sensitive! I contemplated repairing mine with a third party but just sold it on ebay. Sometimes some cells go bad or the chipset goes weird. Register and warranty it folks!
