I was also considering it but from my limited research, it seems like this is a Edge lit TV. The only changed edge led from being regular LEDs to mini leds. It doesn't come with a Full Array lighting which is the usual with mini LEDs these days. LG is being very deceptive about it and trying to pass a low end edge lit TV as being a full Array mini LED tv with local dimming.

That's the wrong model. Review is for the QNED85 which is the 2023 model. Amazon is selling the QNED85A which is the 2025 model. For whatever reason the 2024 model was the QNED85T. Whoever is assigning model numbers at LG has a drinking problem

So here again, LG made big changes from the 2023 (QNED85) to the 2024 QNED85T to the 2025 QNED85A. The original was array lit, the T model cheaped out to edge lit, but it looks like the A model in this deal is back to being miniLED array lit. Given the big shifts from year to year, I'd wait until Rtings gets their hands on the latest model

FYI, if you have access to LG's partner store it's ~$730 plus tax but it's backordered. It's $810, but there's a coupon "EXTRA10" for 10% off, but it's only good through tomorrow, 11/04.
