Off of the top of my head The main differences are the panel finish and the number of HDMI 2.1 ports, making the 75QM6K Pro ideal for bright rooms and gamers with its anti-glare coating and four full-bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, while the standard 75QM6K is better for darker rooms and has a more glossy panel finish and two HDMI 2.1 ports. Both models use Mini-LED backlighting with the same number of local dimming zones, and share similar overall performance in terms of viewing angles and black uniformity

I recently bought this. It's 10 days before first delivery time slot but the warranty starts on day of purchase even though I have no possession for 10 days. It's a very good tv. Rtings.com has it at 7.1 overall which is pretty good. They did not review the pro version which has some advantages. More 2.1 ports, anti reflective coating, and the same HVA panel as the qm7k. So the rating is probably higher but no idea how much. I demoed the 98" at the store and it was noticeably better than the other panels in store. More OLED like. Other reviews really really like this tv and seemed to give it more than the ho hum review from rtings . Side by side with the qm7k it does really well except for HDR brightness. Very much on par with it. For the money this is a best bang for buck. The lowest price for the pro Costco version and the 5 year warranty. This is a very solid combo. This tv is on par with much more expensive tvs with full array, micro led, and local dimming. I just worry about quality but the 5 year warranty deals with that. You have to spend twice as much money for a big brand with the same features and performance. Another option would be the Hisense U6 from Costco which will be $750 in a few weeks for the 75" and has some advantages and disadvantages. I just saw more people complaining about the Hisense in reviews about malfunction and poor warranty service than TCL so not sure about them. The tvs are comparable and similar but TCL just seems a bit better overall.

The TCL QM6K Pro is a strong large-screen Mini LED TV for bright rooms and gaming, with anti reflective panel treatment, Mini LED local dimming, and four HDMI 2.1 ports listed on Costco specs. It is also described as using the same internals as the QM6K, with QM7K style reflection handling and a Crystglow HVA panel, so the appeal is mostly better glare control rather than a full step up in performance. The main caution is reflection, since the glossy finish still draws complaints in real rooms. At $749 with five years of coverage, it lands as a solid value pick for mixed viewing and big screen upgrades.

  • The QM6K Pro variant uses Crystglow HVA panel coatings that improve reflection handling compared with the standard QM6K.

    FuschiaLaborer329SDNovice

  • Mini-LED local dimming can improve darker-scene contrast and black levels in real viewing conditions.

    RocketBeaststelkes9

  • The Costco bundle includes a five-year protection plan that can help offset quality concerns after purchase.

    brickhousestelkes9

  • The TV can deliver strong value for large-screen buyers who want bright-room performance without building a theater setup.

    F1Racerbrickhouse

  • The QM6K Pro can be very reflective and glare-prone, so blackout curtains may be needed for comfortable viewing.

    stelkes9iuser

  • Some discussion challenges the idea that the Pro adds more HDMI 2.1 ports, which can create uncertainty about the exact connectivity upgrade.

    SDNovicebrickhouse

  • The warranty can start on the purchase date even before the delivery time slot arrives.

    brickhouse

  • RTINGS did not review the Pro version, so the available score may not fully reflect Pro-specific differences.

More great Intel. Not to derail, but in the buy 2 get $100 and 3 for $200, I was under the impression it had to be the same item to get the discount.
Apparently for any Costco Direct Item [costco.com]. Prices seem to start at $300 and above. Hoping to see items for less $ for the "3rd item". Just letting you know the options there.

This is what folks at Rtings posted in their discussion thread regarding QM6K Pro -"I'm not sure if we'll review it or not, but honestly it's not really necessary. We asked TCL about this model and they confirmed that the Pro has the exact same internals as the QM6K, but with the panel coatings of the QM7K, so you can see exactly how the QM6K Pro performs by looking at the QM6K test results, with the QM7K's reflection handling."https://www.rtings.com/discussion...l-qm6k-proEdit: I didnt see any mention of more 2.1 ports in the "pro", so not sure where they are seeing that. To me its just better reflection handling; nothing else is different.
Looks at the specs on Costco it shows 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. It also shows Crystal Glow HVA panel which matches the qm7k. So it's more than just an anti reflective coating. The qm7 has better colors and contrast. So I think rtings is wrong. They are down playing this tv for some reason. Their summary is very ho hum but other reviewers love this tv and compare it very directly to the qm7. I would say it probably fits in between the qm6 and qm7 for performance.

Thanks for the info. You are right, the Costco spec sheet has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and anti-reflective coating.

Going to get the 65in. Which one QM6K, QM7K or the QM8k? I want to say $600 too $1,000 when on sale. Nothing fancy I just have ONN box, blu ray player, and good receiver with surround sound
If you are getting the 65" and has the budget of $1000, you would be better off with OLED- Samsung S84F or LG B5 both priced at $1000 right now at BB; might go down for the BF.

I think 'Stop the FOMO' on YouTube said that the glossy QM6K Pro was more reflective than the matte QM6K at BB.
Anyone know how this would work outside? Glare/brightness. Seriously looking at the QM6K, QM6K PRO, And the QM7K
