Damn pretty good deal for a whey/casein combo. The cinnamon one tastes amazing but not very adaptable like vanilla or chocolate if you like to add other flavors in your shake. Anyone vouch for the vanilla flavor? Might have to pick that one up

Good chance there's lead in there. Quest chocolate shakes were listed to have lead.

It's negligible amounts, it's just trace amounts that are naturally in the ingredients. Obviously do your own research, but from what I understood. If you ate milk and cocoa for the protein you'd get the same trace amounts of lead.

Been doing some deep dive research on this. To avoid harm on protein, cacao, cinnamon you absolutely buy from a seller that does and provides "There Party Testing" by one of the leading testing orgs (also want some other certifications). There are a few legit big buy manufacturers of "clean protein", but mostly bad actors. I bought some Pea Protein from a little US farm and they said there was lots of dirty protein flooding markets from China.
I suspect much of this "New Protein" that is showing up in stores with with high protein grams in things like "Protein Water", nutrition bars, etc. is very suspicious. Note I could only find a few Larabar energy bars that did third party testing on heavy metals.
For the lazy person, I can help on Protein powders (protein shakes are a different beast). Research in progress.
I believe powder better than a drink. Contaminants can be added in the liquid. I can buy organic non fat milk add the clean protein powder and put in blender to fix lumps and feel safe.
Anyways, this is the product that is showing up in multiple research sites as being third party tested for a long time and always in the top 10% for "No Heavy Metals".

Consumer reports article was misleading and blown out of proportion.

After researching this dirty protein powder stuff, various sources, when I think of this whole "Protein Powder Biz", it very much tracks really close to "Extra Virgin Olive Oil" biz!
Also, I talked to my Dr about it. She was freaked out because she gives protein shakes to her kids each day.
