This box has No Balls. By Balls, I mean ball bearing drawer slides like the HF. I have a heavy 'machinist clamp set' in the HF box, and it's a breeze to use when heavily weighted. The Husky and most others use metal slots as drawer slides and don't work nearly as well. 'Shop Humor' has a good review on several of these boxes, including the $150 snap-on. I have the harbor freight one since they launched it and love it. Perfect toolbox for the kitchen counter. This Husky one looks like cheaper quality all around. It does have a latch and handle which the HF does not, but I don't think it is necessary on a box this small and those dinky latches break Everytime anyway. The HF box goes on sale all the time too. I got it for $13.

by comparison, the harbor freight one is a dollar cheaper, is 11 inches, and weighs 6.5 pounds ('shipping weight')

I picked up a couple of the Menards ones for $8.88 (with the 11% rebate) like last week.
Everyone seems to have them at different sale times. I wonder if they will pop back up for black friday.

I bought a hyper tough one today for 20. Has ball bearings.

A lotta people don't know this, but you can put your weed in there.

Nice toolbox but I can't find it in stock anywhere around me.
I would get it for my daughter too if I could find it but wondering if you haul your toolbox to the kid's workshops or leave it at home and do the builds there?

What is the use case for this box? Seems like it can only hold a few small hand tools.
I thought the same thing, but now I'm thinking of getting one -- I currently 'tote' my wrench set around in a wrench roll, but there's always a wrench or two sliding out. Not a great solution.

Something like this, particularly due to the top handle, seems like might be a good replacement. SAE in one drawer, metric in the other.

I use the ego mower & it automatically stores them in the bag for easy dump into trash can.

This is exactly what I use my HF one for, which comes with shelf liners preinstalled.
Thank you!
